Section 1: Name

The name of this organization shall be: MAV MED (Military, Allies, Veterans, Excellence, Resources, Integration, Community, Knowledge, Service, in Medicine) – UW Madison, abbreviated and hereinafter referred to as “MAV MED” or “MAVERICKS MED”.
Organizational Descriptive Summary
MAV MED supports military-affiliated and allied medical students through community, mentorship, education, and exposure to military medical careers. We provide resources, networking, and guidance to promote excellence, service, and leadership at UWSMPH.
